The atmospheric puzzle game Silt, often referred to as "underwater Limbo," will arrive on mobile devices in January.
Snapbreak Games has announced that the mobile version of the atmospheric puzzle game Silt will be released on iOS and Android on January 20, 2026.
Silt is an underwater adventure with elements of horror and puzzle. The player controls a diver exploring a dark, flooded world inhabited by hostile creatures. The key mechanic is built around the protagonist's ability to temporarily inhabit marine life and use their features to solve puzzles and advance through locations.
As the player dives deeper, they encounter unusual organisms, ancient mechanisms, and ruins hidden in the depths of the ocean. The visual style is hand-drawn in a monochrome palette to give the events a disturbing atmosphere.
The mobile version of Silt is adapted for touch controls. At launch, users will be able to check out a demo version, and then unlock the full game with a one-time purchase.
The original version of Silt, developed by Spiral Circus Games, was released on PC and consoles in the summer of 2022. The project attracted attention due to its visual similarity to Limbo, Inside, and other atmospheric indie games. On Steam, Silt has 77% positive reviews based on more than 600 user reviews.
