A New Level or Cosmetic Tweaks? Forza Horizon 6 Compared to FH5 for the First Time
Forza Horizon 5 still remains the benchmark among open-world arcade racing games, although Ubisoft has significantly advanced The Crew series in recent years. The main question is whether Forza Horizon 6 will offer a truly new quality.
A short gameplay comparison of Forza Horizon 6 and FH5 from the MotoGamesTV channel has appeared online. The author focused on a topic important to fans — engine sounds. In the models shown, the audio has been reworked, and it noticeably differs from the fifth part.
You can also evaluate the graphics. The loading of vegetation remains a problem for the Forza Horizon series, albeit less pronounced than in FH5. The drawing of grass along the roadsides is clearly visible even in a compressed YouTube video. In this aspect, Ubisoft's projects still look stronger than both FH5 and FH6.
The new part received a higher light exposure. The environment has become brighter and looks more realistic, which benefits the game. The question remains with the view from the cabin: in FH5, it was often too dark due to problems with auto-exposure.
In the finale, the official "cover" car of Forza Horizon 6, the Toyota GR GT, was shown. Production of the model is scheduled to begin in 2027.
