After Black Mesa, the developers decided to make a co-op project.
Crowbar Collective, known for the Half-Life remake, is back with a new project, Rogue Point.
This is a cooperative shooter set in a world where the richest man on the planet has died, and now "greedy corporations have begun to tear his empire to pieces":
In the MERX app, competing businessmen can now hire private armies as easily as ordering food online! Only an elite independent squad of champions of justice called Rogue Point dares to fight back.
Rogue Point offers players missions in a variety of locations. The maps are constantly changing, using a parametric design system:
Earn riches on the front lines, and then enrich your arsenal with new equipment. Start with a simple pistol and body armor and gradually earn yourself an elite arsenal by successfully completing various missions using team strategy. Upgrade your gear with a variety of accessories and attachments to survive in combat. Become the master of the battlefield.
Initial reviews of Rogue Point on Steam are "mostly positive." The game is presented in "early access" and the developers are currently planning to release version 1.0 in a year.
