Gunzilla Games CEO Vlad Korolev has issued a strong statement in response to allegations of non-payment to contractors. The scandal erupted after a former employee publicly claimed months-long payment delays.
The conflict was triggered by a post from animator Paul Kremer, who worked with Gunzilla for about a year. He stated that he had not received payment since October 2025 and claims that other contractors have been affected by a similar situation. According to him, the company has not paid salaries for months but continues to demand work.
After the publication, other former employees joined the accusations, confirming the payment delays.
In response, the head of the studio, Vlad Korolev, stated that a negative "narrative" is being formed around the company, promoted by "detractors." He acknowledged that payments could indeed be delayed, but stressed that full-time employees receive their salaries on time, and the problems mainly concern contractors.
Korolev explained the situation by optimizing expenses and the specifics of the company's cash flow. According to him, this practice is a reality for the gaming and crypto industry. At the same time, he assured that all obligations would be fulfilled and apologized for the inconvenience caused.
