After 15 years, a dataminer found a cut fast travel ability in inFamous 2

Recently, a dataminer under the nickname tiffermate returned to inFamous 2 (2011). He managed to find an unused gameplay mechanic in the game files that would have helped the main character move quickly around the game world.

It so happened that he made this discovery against the backdrop of discussions in the gaming community about rumors of a potential return of the inFamous franchise in some format (as a remake or a new game). Earlier, there were insiders that PlayStation was interested in reviving some old unused franchises.

tiffermate showed that the main character could "slide" and fly very quickly using electricity:

One of the community members asked, "Have you explored the game files?" and added that he would be interested to see if there was any other unused content in inFamous 2.

tiffermate said that he has recently "become actively involved in game modding" and noted that he is still learning a lot and finding new things in the process.
