In 2027, Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat fighting game universe will once again shout "Get over here!" and drag collectors into the Netherrealm, as Iron Studios will release a 20.6 cm statue of this character.
Iron Studios has unveiled a new Scorpion statue from the Mortal Kombat fighting game universe, made at a 1/10 scale from polystone. In certain locations, it will be available for pre-order for $176.99 (12,566 rubles).
The collectible item is 20.6 cm high, 18.75 cm wide, 19.9 cm deep, and weighs 680 grams. Its release is expected in the first or second quarter of 2027.
Scorpion, also known as Hanzo Hasashi, is a member of the Shirai Ryu clan, a master of shuriken combat technique, and a character introduced in the first game of the series.
In the original timeline, he was killed by the elder of the Sub-Zero brothers, Bi-Han. After being reborn in the Netherrealm, Scorpion pursued Sub-Zero for two years until he finally killed him after the tenth Mortal Kombat tournament.
His signature weapon is the kunai knife, which Hanzo uses as a harpoon to pull opponents towards him. His main abilities include the power to instantly teleport from one place to another. He can use this ability to unexpectedly attack an opponent.
Hanzo can also perform a jumping kick that leaves a trail of fire, throw a fireball at an opponent, or create a fiery shield around his body that makes him invulnerable to attacks for a short time. Collectors who want to take a closer look at the statue should watch the recording of the Inside Iron Studios Day event.
