Stardew Valley Fan Shows VR Gameplay - She Wore an Electrode Suit to Transmit Pain

The girl decided to dive deeper into the world of Stardew Valley.

Recently, blogger GingasVR, who specializes in VR content, presented her new project. The girl has been working for some time on a modification that allows playing Stardew Valley in virtual reality.

GingasVR showed Stardew Valley VR gameplay at 60 FPS. This is a fully playable version with various mechanics working and an adapted inventory interface. She also donned a special suit with electrodes that allows pain transmission.

In addition, GingasVR noted the work of an enthusiast under the nickname kittycatcasey (also known as spacechase0). He is working on another VR modification for Stardew Valley.

The modder emphasizes that he does not use AI technologies in his work:

This is The Third Dimension, a mod for Stardew Valley whose goal is to make the game fully playable in 3D and, if desired, in VR, while remaining on the original game engine. I am the author of several key mods in the Stardew Valley community, such as SpaceCore and Generic Mod Config Menu, as well as many other mods you may have seen before, such as Magic, Luck Skill, and Spenny. While [the project] is not yet in a fully playable state, it is already a good proof of concept.

There is no release date for The Third Dimension yet.
