The top-end version of the Ayaneo NEXT 2 portable device costs over 400 thousand rubles
Although the Ayaneo NEXT 2 will eventually reach the international market, not all gamers are willing to pay 281 thousand rubles for a portable device with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, 64 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. There is also a version with 128 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, which costs over 400 thousand rubles.
The situation with the flagship portable device Ayaneo NEXT 2 continues to disappoint gamers. Pre-orders for this intriguing new product opened back in February 2026.
For the model with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, 64 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of internal storage, the developers were asking $2299 (174,842 rubles) at that time; for the version with 128 GB + 2 TB, it was $3499 (266,103 rubles); and the variant with an AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of internal storage was priced at $1799 (136,816 rubles).
Then, in March, due to rising memory prices, NEXT 2 pre-orders were suspended. During a recent presentation, Ayaneo CEO Arthur Zhang once again showcased this Windows-based device and confirmed that international shipments are planned to begin by the end of July. Prior to this, the NEXT 2 console was only available in Asian markets.
Ayaneo has already resumed accepting orders for one of the device variants. The version with Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 64 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD is priced at $3699 (281,313 rubles), the AI Max+ 395, 128 GB + 2 TB variant is $5299 (402,996 rubles), and the configuration with Ryzen AI Max 385, 32 GB + 1 TB is $2999 (228,077 rubles).
It is obvious that the final price of the console does not please anyone, including Ayaneo itself. Arthur Zhang also reported that the first units of NEXT 2 have already been shipped to customers, but noted that the memory market crisis has caused problems with subsequent batches.
Currently, only the NEXT 2 version with Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 64 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD is available in the Ayaneo online store.
