20 years later, a Star Wars Battlefront II fan discovers an Easter egg with new content

Recently, the author of the YouTube channel iamashaymin Modding reminded players about the classic version of Star Wars Battlefront II. He revealed that after two decades, a modder under the nickname S1thK3nny was able to unlock an Easter egg in the shooter.

Currently, S1thK3nny is working on a modification that will remove various restrictions of the original shooter and add animations and other improvements. In the process of decompiling the Star Wars Battlefront II code, he uncovered an Easter egg. According to the modder, the secret was hidden deeper in the game code, beyond the usual area that mod authors work with.

This secret is available in the PC version of the game. To access it, you need to set the profile name to "Wampa" and load the Hunt mode on the Endor map. In this case, a playable Wampa (a creature from the planet Hoth) becomes available.
