The events of Servant of the Lake take place decades before Rusty Lake: Roots, during the time of Aldous and William Vanderboom. Players will spend three days as a new servant of the estate: washing laundry, adjusting family portraits, greeting guests, performing strange errands, and cleaning up the aftermath of alchemical experiments. Amidst daily duties, the secrets of the family and the mansion itself are gradually revealed.
