It seems a modder found a character from the canceled Resident Evil Revelations 3 on the RE4 remake disc for PlayStation 5
The character's textures did not make it into the PC version of the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Recently, a modder known as Keff0 revealed that they managed to discover hundreds of various lines of dialogue that did not make it into the release version of the Resident Evil 4 remake on PC. However, these files remained on the PlayStation 5 console disc.
Keff0 continued to explore the files and soon reported another discovery.
These textures were not included in the PC release version of the game. However, I found that they are present on the PlayStation 5 disc.
The modder initially assumed it might be a costume for Leon, but then realized it was a cut character that might belong to one of Capcom's canceled projects:
This is not a cut Leon costume. These files actually belong to a character named "Yuri" from another Capcom game called "Project Highway," which was rumored to be Resident Evil Revelations 3.
According to Keff0, the character's textures are on the PlayStation 5 disc:
The character's mesh was included in the PC version of the Resident Evil 4 remake, but the textures were not. However, these textures were found on the PlayStation 5 disc. Thanks to this, I was able to restore more details of the character using the remaining Capcom files in the remake.
Judging by the frame published by Keff0, Yuri is a thin man with a short haircut.
Capcom is currently developing an add-on for Resident Evil Requiem. There is no information about a hypothetical Resident Evil: Revelations 3 yet.
