Games Workshop Showcases Miniatures of Ripper Bolgrot and Fungus the Loon for Blood Bowl Tabletop Game
In the near future, fans of the Blood Bowl tabletop game will be able to pre-order miniatures of the intelligent troll Ripper Bolgrot and the goblin Fungus the Loon, who loves to swing chain-balls.
Games Workshop has unveiled new miniatures of Ripper Bolgrot and Fungus the Loon for the Blood Bowl tabletop game.
Bolgrot was once considered remarkably dim, even by the standards of stone trolls, but after a mysterious course of “sports therapy,” he returned noticeably smarter: with developed intellect and critical thinking. This made him even more of an anomaly among his kin.
The thought of a troll reading a book is inconceivable to all but the most deranged minds. Bolgrot's sharp mind is particularly dangerous because it is still encased in a troll's sculpted musculature: despite all his planning, Ripper will still resort to a good old crushing blow to break through the defensive line.
Once per half, Bolgrot can re-roll one dice that was rolled as a single roll, multiple roll, or dice pool, however, this cannot be a dice rolled as part of an armor, injury, or casualty check.
Fungus the Loon is the pure embodiment of the madness of the Night Goblins. Chained to a pair of enormous chain-balls, he is not so much controlled as gently nudged towards the part of the field where his allies are playing that day.
Many teams trip over each other to hire Fungus for as many matches as possible, despite his tendency to cause massive collateral damage in all directions. Fanatics are unpredictable at the best of times, but by hiring this Loon, a player at least knows for sure that he will direct his “Whirling Dervish” skills at something threatening.
Thanks to “Whirling Dervish,” once per activation, Fungus can re-roll a D6 when determining his movement direction. These miniatures will soon be available for pre-order along with the new Night Goblins team.
