Rocksteady Studios, the creators of the Batman: Arkham series, have announced an important addition to the team. Bill Money, former director of Ubisoft Singapore, who worked on major installments of Assassin’s Creed — Mirage, Valhalla, and Origins, has joined the studio.
His new place of work is listed in his profile and is effective from July 2025.
For Rocksteady, this is no random appointment: Money previously worked at WB Games Montreal on Batman: Arkham Origins. Thanks to his experience, his return to the DC world looks particularly important against the backdrop of rumors about the development of a new single-player game in the superhero universe.
The studio has gone through a difficult period after the failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which, after a long development, was met with a cold reception from players and the press. Inviting a specialist in action games and open worlds could be the beginning of a new chapter and a chance to regain the audience's trust.
Although it has not been officially confirmed that the next project will be a continuation of Arkham, much indicates that Rocksteady is returning to familiar themes. Fans have the right to hope for dynamic battles, exploration of the open city, and the atmosphere that once made the Batman games the standard of the genre.
