The developers are gradually revealing the features of the game's production.
1C Game Studios has presented a new development diary for "War of the Worlds: Siberia." This time, they decided to discuss the map assembly process.
The lead environment artist said that sometimes level designers think through locations in detail — in this case, assembling the location is easy. However, sometimes designers do "something for the sake of gameplay" and this does not find any response in reality.
In such moments, you have to "fantasize", seek help from historical consultants and concept artists in order to "transfer something real on the one hand, and at the same time leave all the game ideas of the level designers in the form in which they came up with them."
The release date of "War of the Worlds: Siberia" is still unknown, you can add the game to your Steam wishlist via the following link.
