Recently, during a speech at the Tokyo Game Show, Nikita Buyanov mentioned the possibility of a "softcore" wipe before the full release of Escape from Tarkov.

Soon, the head of Battlestate Games addressed the community on social networks. "Okay, no wipe! We'll just apply softcore settings without a wipe."

"Softcore" is the complete opposite of hardcore (various restrictions will be removed). Details of the planned changes have not yet been disclosed.
