Besiege is available on Steam, where it received a "very positive" rating based on 46,000 player reviews.
The physics sandbox Besiege from Spiderling Studios debuted on PC in Steam in 2020 and has since received 95% positive reviews. Now the project is preparing for release on mobile devices running iOS and Android.
Besiege's gameplay combines simplicity and room for creativity. Players can build siege machines, tanks, helicopters and other inventions from blocks - up to mechanical dinosaurs, and then use them to destroy enemy armies and demolish fortifications.
The mobile port is being developed by Playdigious, which previously ported Dead Cells, Subnautica, Chants of Sennaar and other indie hits to smartphones.
The mobile version will retain all the main features: a single-player campaign with 55 levels, a sandbox, as well as the ability to create and share your machines. The interface is adapted for touch control, achievements and controller support have been added.
Besiege will be distributed on a premium model with the ability to try out the initial fragment of the game, and then purchase the full version.
Pre-registration is already open on Google Play, and pre-orders are available on the App Store. The release is scheduled for November 18, 2025.
