Snowprint Studios is preparing a festive update for mobile tactics, inspired by the classic 1989 board game Space Hulk.
On October 26, a Halloween event will start in mobile Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, the main innovation of which will be a mode based on the legendary board game Space Hulk. Players will have to make their way through the dark corridors of abandoned starships and repel endless waves of enemies. Each run begins with limited resources — the squad will have to survive step by step, win turn-based battles and choose bonuses after each victory, strengthening the fighters. The dead can be replaced as long as reinforcement points remain.
The rules of the event will change from attempt to attempt: sometimes they will allow you to take more units, and sometimes, on the contrary, they will impose additional restrictions, forcing you to experiment with tactics and team composition.
After completing the survival mode, a full-fledged story campaign will open. In it, the Black Templars and Adepta Sororitas will clash in battle against the plague-ridden Death Guard. Here, the faction restrictions, linear progress and a separate reward system familiar to Tacticus apply.
