As it became known, Linda Hamilton will appear in the fifth season of "Stranger Things" as a government agent hunting Eleven. According to Matt Duffer, in an interview with Empire, Hamilton's character is "incredibly smart and intimidating." She is a scientist, but if necessary, she is able to engage in combat and is not afraid to take up arms.
Details about the character are scarce so far, as is the finale of the series itself. However, the showrunners have confirmed that the final chapter will finally provide answers to key questions in the story and bring all the plot lines together.
"We're implementing everything we've planned—with the Demogorgons, the Mind Flayer, Vecna, the Upside Down, Hawkins, and other characters. It's a complete story. It's ready."
The final season of "Stranger Things" will be released on Netflix in three stages: the first four episodes will appear on November 26, three more on December 25, and the final one will be released on New Year's Eve, December 31.
