On November 4, 2025, Don’t Panic Games will launch a Kickstarter campaign for the Ghost In The Shell - The Official Tabletop Roleplaying Game, set in the Ghost in the Shell manga universe.
Thanks to this project, gamers will be able to feel like mercenaries and agents of the Public Security Section in Japan in 2027, where cybernetic bodies and false memories redefine the very concept of identity.
You will be able to become elite rangers, programmers and more, immerse yourself in the world of political intrigue, cybercrime and terrorist threats, visit Newport City and see the events that occurred before the formation of Section 9.
The game is based on the Forged in the Dark system and will definitely include English, French and Italian versions (unfortunately, there is no information yet about the project appearing in Russia).
The release of such a tabletop game is expected in 2026. The Ghost in the Shell franchise has a fairly large fan base, so the main goal of the crowdfunding campaign will probably be achieved in one day (maybe even in a couple of minutes).
