A "voluntary career transition" program has been launched.
Ubisoft has announced the launch of a "voluntary career transition" program for employees of Massive Entertainment studio. It provides generous compensation packages, including financial assistance and support in further employment, for those who decide to leave the company.
According to Ubisoft, this is all part of a reorganization strategy aimed at the long-term development of The Division franchise and technologies such as the Snowdrop engine and Ubisoft Connect.
The decision on voluntary layoffs followed the unsuccessful launches of two major Massive Entertainment projects — Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars Outlaws, which did not meet sales expectations.
