"Demon Slayer" adds another achievement to its collection.
According to Collider, "Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle" has entered the top 100 highest-grossing animated films in US history, taking 99th place and surpassing "The Peanuts Movie", while pushing out "Robots" (2005).
In the six weeks since its premiere, "Infinity Castle" has grossed $131 million in the US and $527 million in other countries, bringing its worldwide gross to $659 million. Previously, the film had already become the highest-grossing foreign release in American box office history, surpassing "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", as well as the highest-grossing anime film of all time.
Notably, no other 2025 release managed to make it into the American top 100 animation. Even the large-scale Chinese blockbuster "Nezha Conquers the Dragon King", which grossed $2 billion worldwide, went unnoticed in the US, earning less than $21 million.
"Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle" continues to run in theaters, so its position in the ranking may still strengthen.
