Blizzard has confirmed the return of its main conference. BlizzCon 2026 will take place on September 12–13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event will return in a classic format with playable versions of projects, panels, esports, and community gatherings.
As a reminder, the last BlizzCon was canceled in 2024 when Blizzard decided to revise the event's format. This was a painful pause for fans: BlizzCon has always been a celebration of the community, a place for premieres, emotions, cosplay, playing together, and interacting with developers. Therefore, the news of the event's return has generated great enthusiasm.
Pre-orders for tickets start on November 7 and will last until November 10. The cost of the BlizzCon Pass in pre-order is $249.99, with a purchase limit of four tickets per account. The main sale will begin on November 18, with a ticket price of $289.99. Sales are conducted through the Tixr platform.
The BlizzCon Pass includes entry for both days, access to the main halls, the BlizzCon Arena, themed zones, panels, and community activities, as well as digital bonuses in games. Highlights include:
- opening ceremony (Hall D + additional viewing areas);
- playable versions of World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal;
- Blizzard Arcade with classics (Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft, etc.);
- cosplay contest with a Best in Show award;
- esports section: Overwatch World Cup, WoW Arena World Championship, Mythic Dungeon International, Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship, and the new Blizzard Classic Cup;
- Darkmoon Faire with limited-edition pins, mascots, and prize exchanges;
- Hearthstone Tavern, Murloc parade, Inclusive Nexus zone, and career panels with portfolio/CV reviews.
Part of the program, including the opening ceremony and main panels, will be streamed for free. For those who want more, two additional events are planned:
- BlizzCon Benefit Dinner — $499.99 with a meeting with developers, the opportunity to ask questions and get autographs, a collectible card, and reserved seating at the ceremony. All proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
- Darkmoon Faire — $89.99, a three-hour fantasy-themed event with access to a special zone, shop, exchange, and 20 tokens for souvenirs. Participants receive a unique collectible card.
Both events have limited availability and require a main BlizzCon Pass.
