The game started with "mostly negative" reviews, but over time the rating rose slightly — to 44%, which allowed it to fall into the category of games with "mixed" reviews.
Players in Sacred 2 Remaste encountered various technical problems (bugs, FPS drops, crashes); users also did not like the new vision of the interface.
One of the community members, Rattletrap, shared impressions in the review — he spent less than an hour in the game, but highlighted many shortcomings:
I'm sorry, of course, but the original works better. I played for 20 minutes and encountered so many errors that there is simply no faith that this game has the right to exist. What are the health bars from Starcraft? What kind of interface is this? How could you make such a terrible HUD? What kind of eclecticism of styles. What's with the fonts? Why is the whole game in Arial? Why such a huge combat text? I understand that the game is for grandfathers, but the font will be too large even for them.
What's with the item bars? Why are they so huge? Why, when I turn on item highlighting, do I see a huge bar with a name under the character, and it's also clickable? It interferes with fighting in melee. Why are items picked up from any distance?
