Now the vegetation will look more natural.
Minecraft developers are preparing to release update 1.21.11. Before its launch, they presented several pre-release versions.
Mojang talked about the fixes and improvements:
- The See-Through Leaves parameter is introduced: if you turn it off, the gaps between the leaves will be dark green instead of black. The developers also noted that turning it off "now gives a greater performance boost than before."
- Added Texture Filtering parameter. There are several options to choose from — None, RGSS and Anisotropic.
- RGSS (or Rotated Grid Super Sampling) is a shader-based filtering method that increases texture clarity with a moderate reduction in performance.
- Mojang noted that Anisotropic filtering "provides the best texture clarity."
Players have already started sharing their impressions of the new options.
