Some viewers would like to see the development of a romantic relationship between the characters in the series based on Fallout.
Actress Ella Purnell, who played Lucy in Amazon's "Fallout" series, commented on fan theories about a possible romantic relationship between her character and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins). In an interview with Geek Culture, she answered a question about "shipping" these characters.
"I get asked about this a lot. I think it's telling that they ask me and not him. You know what I say? You need help. You can't fix him. You can't save him. Let it go. What's between the Ghoul and Lucy is a beautiful, deep connection. They are both looking for those they love. Let's stop there."
The new season of "Fallout" will premiere on December 17, 2025 on Prime Video.
