An unfortunate set of circumstances can lead to dire consequences.
In early December, testing began for various fixes and improvements for the medieval city-building strategy game Manor Lords.
Greg Styczeń talked about gameplay innovations:
- Added a "Protect Resource Zone" checkbox for Logging Camps and Firewood Cutters, allowing workers to automatically avoid cutting down forests near vulnerable resources.
- Maintenance calculation changed from "Time Since Last Repair" to a full "Durability Counter" to avoid some ways of bypassing the mechanic.
- Significantly adjusted the behavior of Granary and Storehouse workers.
- Added at the request of testers: warehouse workers can now only supply their stalls from warehouse buildings again.
- Added a chance of injury and a small chance of death as a possible effect of failed "Maintenance" for some buildings that require tools.
