A Hollow Knight: Silksong fan, known on YouTube as Bloblumord The 3rd, has taken on an unusual challenge: to defeat all the game's bosses using only Hornet's taunts instead of weapons.
Bloblumord decided that the only way to attack would be with Hornet's taunt, activated by the V key on the keyboard or by pressing the right stick on the gamepad. This makes the heroine shout "garama" — a local analogue of a scathing remark in the world of Pharloom. Few people know, but this taunt, performed near an enemy, deals a small amount of damage — about six units with the active initial Hunter's Crest, as the player himself clarifies.
This approach makes the battles incredibly long, as the usual weaknesses of the bosses cannot be used. For example, defeating the boss Trobbio took about an hour. However, to fight flying enemies, he has to attract NPCs, as they cannot be defeated with taunts alone.
