Action Roguelike Shape of Dreams Surpasses One Million Copies Sold
The project took about four months to reach this milestone.
Shape of Dreams was released on Steam on September 11, 2025, and quickly attracted the attention of the audience. In the first two weeks, the game surpassed 500,000 copies sold, entered the top ten most profitable releases of the week, and gathered a peak online presence of over 45,000 players.
Recently, publisher Neowiz announced that total sales of Shape of Dreams exceeded one million copies - it took the project about four months to achieve this. The developers from Lizard Smoothie published an address on Steam, thanking players for their support and noting that the game"entered 2026 with a particularly important achievement for the team". The studio added that in the new year, the project"will continue its journey", and they plan to develop and expand the world of Shape of Dreams.
Shape of Dreams combines elements of action RPG, roguelike, and cooperative action. The game features eight heroes with unique combat styles and development paths, as well as eight worlds with bosses and hidden zones. The project supports both single-player and cooperative gameplay for up to four players.
In addition, the developers announced in their Discord that they are considering releasing the game on consoles, but specific platforms and dates have not yet been announced.
