Several years ago, the visual novel Katawa Shoujo made its way to Steam. However, there was a problem: the Russian language patch had to be installed separately.
In January 2026, the authors of Katawa Shoujo celebrated the 14th anniversary of the project and presented a special update — a full-fledged translation into Russian was added to the game.
Katawa Shoujo is a romantic visual novel set in the fictional Japanese school for disabled children "Yamak". The protagonist ends up there due to a heart problem and meets a variety of characters.
