The network discussed the poor performance of High on Life 2 - with mediocre graphics, the game works poorly. However, there turned out to be more problems.
High on Life 2 was released on February 13 in such a technical condition that some players cannot complete the linear story campaign. One Reddit user encountered a "softlock", a bug that leaves only one option – to start over or edit save files. Otherwise, the mission does not continue.
Steam users have prepared a guide on how to change the save on PC and "unlock" progress. There is no such option on consoles – you have to wait for patches.
The bug often occurs in the finale, after about 10 hours, in the courtroom scene. The save system provides only one slot and one checkpoint, so players are forced to lose all progress.
This is just one of many bugs. The game doesn't even have native HDR support – users implement it themselves. The developers have a large amount of fixes to do. Perhaps in a few months the project will be put in order. However, the trend is alarming: releases come out in poor condition with the expectation of future patches.
