Sony continues to deliver not only technical improvements. Players have received new options for reacting to messages.
In April, Sony released firmware update 26.03-13.20.00 for PlayStation 5 consoles.
This time, the company did not limit itself to a traditional technical improvement; new emoji also appeared:
- Messages and the usability of some screens were improved (the developers chose not to disclose details)
- More emoji were added that players can use for message reactions.
Not all PlayStation 5 owners are happy with such minor updates, and they are calling on Sony to introduce full-fledged major system updates and improve the interface:
Can we get actual good updates that we need? For example, new trophy headings and more profile settings. And an activity feed — honestly, I feel like a lonely player on PlayStation, your service is horrible crap compared to Steam.
A few weeks ago, truly major changes were spotted on PS5 — some players received an alternative interface with various improvements, such as separate tabs for PlayStation Plus, the Library, and the PlayStation Store
