Blizzard started fixing Diablo IV - the first emergency patches have been released
The developers listened to feedback and adjusted the balance, as well as fixed some mechanics.
In late April, Diablo IV launched its 13th season, titled “Season of Reckoning,” and released the story expansion Lord of Hatred.
Soon after the release, players began to complain not only about queues but also about critical technical issues — bugs could block progress in quests and restrict access to some content. There were also balance problems.
Blizzard Entertainment began releasing the first hotfix patches designed to address a number of issues:
- Fixed an issue where progress could be blocked during the quest The Soil, The Seed, the Fruit.
- Fixed an issue where, when completing the Last of the Horadrim quest as part of a group, only one group member received the reward for its completion, and the Talisman tab did not open for the other participants.
- Fixed a bug where various monsters, such as Pangs of Duriel and Infernal Prison, had significantly higher health stats than originally intended.
- Fixed an issue where the Schadenfreude: Iron Maiden and Bramble: Bone Prison variants dealt much more damage than they should have.
