Kathleen Kennedy attended an event dedicated to the upcoming release of "The Mandalorian & Grogu" film, where she spoke about the transition of Din Djarin and Grogu's story from Disney+ to the big screen. According to the former head of Lucasfilm, even during the series' production, the team realized that the project was gradually outgrowing the streaming format and saw potential for a full-fledged theatrical release.
