The summer season of gaming shows is approaching, and Half-Life fans traditionally begin to theorize about potential announcements from Valve. Some are once again convinced that the company is up to something.
The reason for a new round of theories was a discount. For some reason, the first Half-Life received a small discount for the first time in many years – 25%, usually Valve set 80-90%.

Only a -25% discount. In the last 5 years, it has never been this low. And it's the only Valve game currently on discount. And all this right before Summer Game Fest.
One of the players decided to joke and stated that this is "confirmation of Half-Life 2.5" (for many years, the community has joked about Valve and the number "3").
At the same time, insiders and dataminers, who have been collecting information for many years on the so-called HLX project (allegedly the new Half-Life installment), are silent and show no activity.
Half-Life fans are very tense right now, as journalist and gaming show host Geoff Keighley recently showed a teaser with steam for the June Summer Game Fest presentation. Players are theorizing: they suggest that Valve could share news about Steam Machine.
