07 Jun 05:23Soon, gamers will be able to try out an early version of the game, while developers are busy polishing it.
The authors of Breathedge 2 presented a new trailer and a development diary, in which they talked about plans to launch the game in "early access" format.
According to the developers, the project is currently at the initial stage of polishing – the entire foundation for launch has been assembled:
[...] it works, but it works through swearing and tears, of course. In addition to the technical part, the project still awaits many visual improvements, localizations, sound design, and other development joys, but... The light at the end of the tunnel is already shining!
They clarified that they "try to treat" the launch of Breathedge 2 in early access as a release:
It should be the highest quality, well-developed, debugged, and optimized game, or rather, part of a game. What distinguishes it from the release version is primarily the amount of available content, not that it will be a graphically poor creation at 10 FPS. It will be at 12 FPS!
You can add Breathedge 2 to your Steam wishlist by following this link. The "early access" release is expected in August of this year.
The developers warned that one should not expect a polished version right from the start:
If you want a complete game with excellent balance, without a single flaw, for a hundred million hours, then Early Access is NOT FOR YOU! If you, like us, love to dive into projects even before they are conceived, are not afraid of possible bugs, the absence of a complete game from start to finish, want to participate in the development of the project, contribute ideas, and be pioneers of this crazy cosmos, then early access is for you.
