Stronghold 4 Announced - Castle Building and Sieges Revealed

The new installment of the RTS franchise will be a prequel, and a demo version will be released very soon.

Firefly Studios has announced a full new installment of Stronghold 4. It is a real-time strategy game set in a medieval setting.

As before, players will be able to build castles and participate in sieges. In terms of the franchise's chronology, the events of this game will unfold "years before" the events of the original Stronghold:

The developers will offer players in Stronghold 4 to get acquainted with the story of a simple shepherd Penryn from Wethel, whose life "collapses overnight, forcing him to go through difficult trials and become a leader":

There's a nuance: Stronghold 4 is planned to be released in "early access" format. The developers expect the project to remain in this status for approximately six months, but the timeline may be adjusted during development.
