After 5 years, Valheim will leave Early Access - Deep North 1.0 update trailer with a new biome

Developers are gradually moving towards the full release of the game. Players will have to explore the Deep North.

Iron Gate studio and Coffee Stain Publishing have unveiled a trailer for the major 1.0 update for Valheim. The game's creators announced that it will leave Early Access this year:

The creators of Valheim will invite the community to explore the Deep North — previously, players could see snippets of content from this biome in numerous developer diaries. For example, there will be a frosty forge and new armor.

The Valheim developers also talked about expanding the list of supported platforms:

You will have to defeat new enemies, build bases, and craft weapons. The release, as usual, will be on PC, Linux, Mac, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and now PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 are also added to the list. Of course, there will be full cross-play between all platforms so you can play with friends.
