Publisher Playstack announced that the open beta of the hardcore soulslike Mortal Shell 2 was downloaded over 250,000 times in just the first weekend after its launch.
The developers from Cold Symmetry studio thanked players for their high interest in the project and noted that the community's reaction exceeded the team's expectations.

The currently available demo includes the prologue and an early segment of the open world.
Cold Symmetry also stated that it has already begun implementing changes based on user feedback. The team is working on bug fixes, gameplay improvements, and plans to incorporate all these enhancements into the final version of the project.
