"Supergirl" to be the Shortest DC Film in 16 Years
Kara Zor-El's solo film will only be longer than the 2010 superhero western "Jonah Hex" in terms of runtime.
The Irish Film Classification Office (IFCO) has confirmed the final runtime for "Supergirl." The first solo film about Kara Zor-El in the revamped DCU will be 1 hour, 47 minutes, and 55 seconds long.
For modern superhero cinema, this is a relatively modest figure. The film will be 21 minutes shorter than last year's "Superman," which ran for 2 hours and 9 minutes, and will become the shortest DC comics film since 2010's "Jonah Hex" (82 minutes).

The lead role in the film is played by "House of the Dragon" star Milly Alcock. The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, and Jason Momoa. The world premiere of "Supergirl" is scheduled for June 26, 2026.
