Streamer Ready to Pay $250,000 for Early Access to GTA VI
Some gamers would like to jump into Grand Theft Auto VI earlier than others.
Rockstar Games recently announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI would soon open. A well-known streamer reacted to the developers' statement and made an offer.
Gamers noticed Adin Ross, who is allegedly ready to pay $250,000 (about 18-19 million rubles) for the opportunity to play Grand Theft Auto VI before its official release.
The reaction to this "initiative" was not very positive. Players expressed the opinion that he should wait like everyone else and noted that Rockstar "makes $250,000 an hour every day" and the developers "don't care about [Adin Ross'] pocket money."
Another initiative by the streamer – launching a GTA VI Online server that would allow players to quit their real jobs and work in a virtual world, receiving a full salary – also failed to impress gamers. They believe that with such statements, Adin Ross simply decided to remind people of himself amidst discussions about the new game.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release in November of this year. Developers will share information about pre-orders in the coming days, and it is still unknown whether there will be "premium early access" for an expanded edition, as some companies do.
Earlier, streamer xQc expressed the opinion that GTA VI is an "$800 product" – developers will offer players a lot of content.
