Russians cut off from Blizzard games, why GTA VI won't be released on PC alongside consoles - the most interesting news for July 15

A brief digest of everything that happened in the entertainment industry worldwide over the last day.

• Russians lost access to Battle.net, Diablo IV, and other Blizzard games. In July, problems with connecting to Blizzard Entertainment game servers emerged.
• New optical discs will hold up to 1 TB. They appeared amidst Sony's abandonment of physical games. Startup Folio Photonic introduced the Folio Disc optical disc format.
• "One day you will forgive me": the description of the first trailer for "Avengers: Doctor Doom" has appeared. The full premiere of the first trailer is expected in the second half of July.
• The writer of Fallout: New Vegas calculated how many veterans are left at Obsidian studio. Some developers of the original Fallout are still with the studio.
• It's not out of spite: a former GTA V producer explained why GTA VI won't be released on PC simultaneously with consoles. Developers are simply prioritizing.
