Miles Morales to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner than expected - insider
The hero's debut could happen just a few months after the release of "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse."
Recently, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirmed that the studio has plans for Miles Morales after the completion of Sony's animated trilogy:
"We definitely have plans. I think the live-action Spider-Man movies are destined to introduce Miles after the 'Spider-Verse' series concludes."
At the time, the statement sounded like a distant future prospect. One might have assumed that after the final animated film, Marvel would only begin work on a Miles movie, so his debut would have to wait several more years.
Now the situation looks different. Insider MyTimeToShineHello reported that Miles Morales will debut in "Avengers: Secret Wars."
While the information should be treated as a rumor, the insider's message does not contradict Feige's words. "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" will be released on June 18, 2027, and "Secret Wars" on December 17 of the same year. Exactly six months will pass between the premieres, so Marvel will be able to introduce Miles after the animated trilogy concludes.
