Anbernic RG DS Plus Dual-Screen Portable Console Gets Price and Release Date

Next week, users will have the chance to purchase the Anbernic RG DS Plus dual-screen portable console, so it's time to find out how much such a device will cost.

Thanks to the Retro Handhelds portal, gamers have learned new details about the Anbernic RG DS Plus dual-screen portable console. Sales of the device on AliExpress and the official Anbernic website are scheduled to start on September 15 at 13:00 Moscow time.

For the first 72 hours, this new clamshell will be available for $84.99 (7296 rubles), after which the price will increase to $94.99 (8154 rubles).

It's worth noting that the RG DS Plus will feature a Rockchip RK3568 chip, 1 GB of RAM, a Linux-based OS (GammaOS), a single stick, a built-in stylus, and three color options – black, blue, and pink.

The team opted out of built-in eMMC memory to reduce the console's cost. The "Plus" in the name is due to the increased physical size of the device and screens. According to a video from Joey’s Retro Handhelds YouTube channel Joey’s Retro Handhelds, the display size is 1024×768 (4.3 inches).
