Gothic arrives on smartphones after 25 years - the cult RPG released on iPhone and iPad

The mobile version is based on the Nintendo Switch re-release with a number of technical fixes.

THQ Nordic Mobile has released Gothic Classic on iPhone and iPad. This is not a remake from Alkimia Interactive, but a port of the console version released on Nintendo Switch in 2023. The re-release retains the graphics, animations, content, and gameplay mechanics of the original 2001 RPG, but includes technical fixes, a redesigned interface, and controls for new platforms.

The mobile version features on-screen buttons, gamepad support, graphic filters, cloud saves, and Game Center achievements.

The game is available in the Russian App Store for 450 rubles. Nothing is known yet about plans to release a port on Android.
