At first, the game was warmly received, but now Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is under attack.
The release of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter recently took place. The project was also released in Russia for 1900 rubles (60 dollars in the West).
Local gamers appreciated the game, and there were about 200 reviews in Russian, but after a week some began to replace them with negative ones. The reason was an unexpected decision, presumably, by the publisher GungHo Online Entertainment America.
For some reason, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter was banned from being sold in Russia — now users are indignant, for example, they said:
- Velvet Queen: «I initially wanted to give the game the best rating, but because of the publisher's decision to secretly remove it from the Russian region, I will deservedly lower the rating».
- isprinti: «This review is not available in your region. A wonderful remake, but the same cannot be said about the American publisher».
- Пивоглот: «The game, of course, is good and all that, but removing it from sale in the Russian region on the sly is an extremely ugly act. Maybe at least a reduced rating in Steam will teach the mediocrities in the publisher's office a lesson».
