Sometimes when working on games, developers can use their life experience.
In "GTA about school" Bully, the developers from Rockstar presented a variety of character groupings and situations. It seems that some moments came from the childhood of one of the game's creators.
Former environment artist Andrew Wood, who worked on Bully, spoke with Retro Gamer about the influence of the Rockstar Games co-founder:
"We knew that many moments were actually taken from Dan Houser's childhood [he was the screenwriter].
He projected himself onto the story, but we all went through school, through these social groupings and stereotypes. It touched all our childhood memories."
