However, the community met the changes negatively. Shooter fans on Reddit stated that they did not encounter the problem of protracted matches, and expressed dissatisfaction with the update. Some even accuse the developers of trying to attract the Call of Duty audience, pointing to changes in the game pace.
Criticism also touched upon the announcement of the first season, which will feature 4v4 and 8v8 modes, when Battlefield veterans would like to see more large maps.
The first season of Battlefield 6 starts on October 28.
