The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion continues to be the subject of creative experiments with the Unreal Engine 5.
Artist L.Torres (Leo Torres) is experimenting not only with Skyrim, but also with The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion. He recently prepared another overview trailer of one of the pieces of the Bethesda game world.
This time, the focus was on Skingrad:
Perhaps this is one of the most unique layouts for a city in Cyrodiil, with the main Golden Road running through the central canyon of the city. Skingrad has always had a rather interesting geography and structure — something between French and Mediterranean...
L.Torres noted that he increased the detail by 16 times. Everything runs on Unreal Engine 5.6.1 and a PC with RTX 3090.
Third-party models and custom assets modeled and textured in Blender were used. Nanite technology was used for all models and foliage; Lumen was used for global illumination and reflections. TSR — for anti-aliasing.
