The developers are adjusting workflows to release updates more often and better.
Recently, The Indie Stone studio presented a new Project Zomboid development diary. This time it is dedicated to organizational matters: what "has been happening behind the scenes for the last twelve months."
A new design director, Christian "Serellan" Allen, has appeared. This developer participated in the creation of projects such as Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Halo: Reach.
He is also creating modifications for Project Zomboid and has spent more than 5,000 hours in the game.
Christian's new role is just one of the latest stages of reorganization and the emergence of new faces. Given the growth of the game, the team and the audience, it became clear last year that we needed fresh, experienced blood for the development and production of Project Zomboid. Max Brodd from Ballistic Moon joined us last October as lead producer, and now he has become our director of production. This has led to us becoming more organized in all our departments, although externally this may have been most noticeable in the quality control and build release processes. Updates have become much more regular and consistent than B41 or anything before it ever received. Our newly appointed producer, Yana Marshalkowska-Duncan, has also made a great contribution to this.
