The mobile version of HITMAN: World of Assassination was sold for twice the price of the PC version at release.
IO Interactive released HITMAN: World of Assassination on iOS on August 27, 2025, but users had questions about the price of the mobile version. At release, the game was available on the App Store for $70, while the same collection could be purchased for $30 on PC.
Now the price has been reduced by $30 — to $39.99, but it is not yet clear whether this is a permanent reduction or a temporary promotion.
It is also worth considering that the game will require one of the top Apple devices. At release, even the iPhone 16 Pro Max showed frame rate drops below 30 FPS in demanding scenes. However, iPhone 17 Pro Max owners report a "flawless" game quality on their device.
